Want to golf with a UCLA coach or athlete?

Spending a day on the greens at the exclusive Coto de Caza Golf & Racquet Club has an appeal all its own, but teeing off for a good cause offers even greater rewards. Combine such advantages with the chance to golf in a foursome with a UCLA coach or favorite Bruin athlete and the opportunity becomes priceless.

Now in its ninth consecutive year, the UCLA Golf Classic is the largest, most significant UCLA fundraiser in Orange County. While the tournament, dinner and live and silent auctions, taking place Monday, May 4, center on Bruin camaraderie, the UCLA Golf Classic is vital to the world-class University for which it raises funds.

Benefiting the UCLA Alumni Association’s Scholarship Program, the UCLA Fund and the UCLA Athletics Wooden Athletic Fund, this highly-anticipated event supports the scholars and athletes of today and the campus of tomorrow.

Explains Head Football Coach Rick Neuheisel, "As an alumnus and member of the UCLA Athletics family, it was my privilege to participate in this momentous event last year. The impressive gathering of former coaches and players was a testament to our commitment to raise the excellence of UCLA through local fundraisers such as the UCLA Golf Classic."

In its history, this popular event has raised over $270,000, while drawing such former coaches and recognized athletes as: Terry Donahue, Dan Guerrero, Eric Karros, Cade NcNown, Tom Ramsey, Wayne Cook, Al Scates, Lynn Shackelford and Matt Stevens.

The website also features unprecedented sponsorship opportunities sure to give businesses exposure where it counts – amongst thousands of successful Bruin alumni and supporters. For complete sponsorship details and to reserve your place in the May 4 tournament, visit UCLAgolfclassic.com. Last year’s tournament sold-out early and the UCLA Golf Classic Executive Committee anticipates another sell-out year, so those interested in participating are encouraged to sign-up today.
